Lady's Boot - It has been pointed out that we carry several types of boots for swashbucklers, but none for their female counterparts. We are glad to offer these great boots that we feel would gain the approval of ladies such as Ann Bonny, Mary Reed or anyone of their ilk. These boots come to below the knee and lace up for a good firm fit and have just enough heel for a little elegance without compromising the good footing that the swordswoman demands. 20" boot length. 1 1/2" heel. Round Toe Thigh High Boots - Hand made and crafted from supple 4-ounce leather with leather soles and heels, these boots have been copied from a fashionable style popular from the 15th-17th centuries. High boots were valued as additional protection against a sword cut. They wear well in the folded over, calf-high look, making them perfect for many styles of renaissance and medieval attire. Men's whole sizes 8-13, black leather only. Two buckles (concealed by rolled-over flap in photo) allow you to tighten the boot legs. 30 3/4" high before folding. 5 3/4" brown cuff.

100410 Renaissance Boots
Renaissance Boots - The Renaissance was a very dynamic period, with great advances in the arts and sciences, religion and philosophy, and of course, war. But there was another field of endeavor that is frequently ignored- fashion. One of the more romantic items of footwear were these thigh high boots. Made of premium grade leather, they re also comfortable. These boots are furnished with buckles to tighten the material against the leg. Slits allow the top to be tied close to the leg, or ribbons, colored to the gentleman's fancy, can be laced through. Obviously they can also be worn with the tops turned down. These are not cheap costume boots, but rugged and fully serviceable. Women's whole sizes 5-7. Men's whole sizes 8-13.
